Invasive Species Workshop

Join Bandon Environmental Action Group for an engaging and hands-on workshop exploring the impact of invasive species in the Bandon area. The event includes an introduction to Ireland’s most problematic invasive species, a guided site visit to identify them in local habitats, and practical demonstrations of ecological sampling and control methods. Learn how to recognise invasive species, understand their effects on biodiversity, and take part in a live experiment aimed at restoring native ecosystems.
Facilitated by Ecologist John O’Sullivan, this event is run in collaboration with Cork Nature Network as part of Invasive Species Week.
