Webinar: INNS on the Tees

Local Action Groups across Great Britain (GB) play a key role in reducing the impact of invasive non-native species, from awareness raising and biosecurity support, to managing widespread species and providing volunteering opportunities for the local community.
The Tees Catchment is home to a rich variety of wildlife and habitats, but invasive non-native species pose a significant threat to its biodiversity and heritage. Tees Rivers Trust is a catchment-based organisation, working from source to sea to protect, improve and celebrate the River Tees through practical restoration, habitat improvements, education and engagement.
INNS have been a core thread running through the Trust’s work since 2012, and they are currently in the development phase of an exciting new project: the Tees Invasive Species Project (TISP), which will continue building on this long-term commitment.
Join this webinar hosted by the GB Non-native Species Secretariat to learn more about:
- INNS issues affecting the Tees Catchment.
- How the Trust is tackling the problem through catchment-wide delivery and collaboration.
- What’s planned for the Tees Invasive Species Project — and how you can get involved.
