The course will provide engineers with the capacity to identify the principal invasive alien plant species, particularly those present in aquatic, riparian and terrestrial habitats. Providing details regarding what control methods are most effective and how they should be applied. The importance of biosecurity in preventing the introduction and spread of invasive alien plant species, and implications of Regulations S.I.477/2011, EU1143/2014 and newly introduced S.I374/2024 will be highlighted.
