Himalayan Balsam Bashing – Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford
June 28 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free

Help us to tackle Himalayan Balsam, an alien invasive species in Ireland, which damages biodiversity and can contribute to destabilising river banks. It is particularly prevalent in the Slaney river catchment. The good news is it is easy to remove manually. Please join us to help reduce its impact along the Slaney in Enniscorthy.
Wear gardening gloves, wellington boots or sturdy shoes, long sleeves and long trousers, as you will encounter wet, rough, uneven ground and nettles.
No booking required, just bring lots of friends to help.
