Balsam Bash at Rathcormac, Co. Sligo

Join us on 23 June for a community Balsam Bash at Rathcormac, Co. Sligo, where we will be working to remove Himalayan Balsam, a highly invasive plant species that threatens our native biodiversity and river habitats. This volunteer event will focus on a site near Rathcormac Cemetery, with the aim of eradicating the infestation before it can spread further and set seed. No previous experience is required, and all training will be provided on the day. Come along, get some fresh air, meet like-minded people, and help protect our local environment for future generations. Please wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
